Cancellation and Refunds

Standard Cancellation Policy:-

  • If you cancel 14 days before the arrival date, you will receive an 80% refund in the original payment method or a 100% refund as a future credit note.
  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before the arrival date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking value or 60% as a future credit note.
  • Cancellations requested within 7 days of the check-in date are non-refundable.
  • If the booking has been partially paid, it will be considered non-refundable.

Please note: A cancellation fee of 20% of the booking value will be applied to all refunds processed by Poetree. This fee covers platform, convenience, and processing charges.

If a reservation is changed and the updated booking value exceeds the original amount, the guest must pay the difference. The validity period of a Future Credit Note will be specified and cannot be extended. For bookings made using credit, the check-in date must fall within the validity period. Typically, a Future Credit Note expires six months from its issue date unless otherwise specified.


A Future Credit Note cannot be combined with another credit note and does not need to be used simultaneously; it can be split across multiple bookings. Credit can be transferred by emailing ___________. If a booking made with credit is canceled, the standard cancellation policy applies. Future Credit Notes issued under regular or special COVID-19 policies can be used to book any Poetree property.

By Guest:

  • Rescheduling requests can be made up to 14 days before the check-in date.
  • Any price difference must be covered by the guest.
  • Rescheduling requests cannot be made for peak dates.

By Poetree:

Poetree reserves the right to cancel a booking. In such cases, guests are entitled to one of the following options:

  • Poetree will arrange an alternative comparable home.
  • Poetree will provide a Future Credit Note (valid for 6 months from issuance) for the full booking value.
  • A full refund of the total amount paid.
  • Standard check-in time is 2 PM, and check-out time is 11 AM.
  • GST applies to the cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will not include accommodation and cleaning fees.
  • Early check-ins and extended departures may incur additional charges based on StayVista’s discretion and home availability.
  • Bookings made through third-party sites, such as Airbnb or GoMMT, may be subject to their specific cancellation policies. Please review the Cancellation Policy of the site where the booking was made.
