Our Story:
Poetree is a passion project that is born out of the sheer tenacity of three visionary friends. Our first visit to the site established a clear foundation of the direction of the project – it was all about encapsulating the breathtaking panorama of the Mukane reservoir to the north and the pristine surrounding landscapes of the Sahyadris including the Kavnai fort in the south east. The heavily contoured site was also a generator for the masterplan and the orientation of the structures on the site.
The 15 acre property is being conceptualised as a melting pot of various typologies of bespoke villas, a resort component, a banquet hall along with a multipurpose lawn and a plethora of amenities, all of these set within a highly curated landscape experience. Each of the villas is designed as a landmark in itself; the architecture is unique and contextual to the contours of the plot and the views it captures of the lakes or the surrounding hillscapes. The overarching idea was to create a community that is activated by the engagement of the architecture and the spaces within, with nature.
The bespoke architecture of the villas also serves as an incubator for customised interiors filled with splashes of colours, abstract patterns and playful furniture, giving the villa both a unique personality and a dash of whimsy.
